The water is safe for swimming and patrolled by lifeguards. During the months of November to May, stinger proof enclosures are set up for a more protected swimming experience.

For fishing enthusiasts, the twin headlands located at both ends of the beach make perfect spots for fishing. Not only that, these are also ideal spots for walks or simply sit and enjoy this tropical getaway in North Queensland.

Being nuzzled at the base of Coral Sea, it serves as a gateway to some of Australia’s best attractions such as The Great Barrier Reef, world-heritage Rainforest, and Sky Rail Rainforest Cableway. One hour drive to the west, tourists can already enjoy the scenic Cape Tribulation and Daintree. Taking a tour at the Tjapukai Aboriginal Culture Park, scoring a hole-in-one at Paradise Palms Golf Course, Cable Ski, trail bike riding, canoeing, deep sea fishing, skydiving, and water skiing are only some of the thrilling outdoor activities tourists can enjoy while on vacation. Local tours depart daily or hire a car and explore on your own.

Trinity Beach probably gets the most number of sunshine in all of North Queensland. It’s warm and temperate tropical climate is ideal for beach and outdoor activities.

The region, known for its tropical climate, has only two seasons: the ‘wet’ and the ‘dry’. Temperatures during summertime range from 24 to 33 degrees celsius, and in winter, you can experience temperatures from 14 to 26 degrees celsius.

Cairns has a winter period of balmy temperatures and low rainfall and a summer period of warm temperatures with increased rainfall.

During the “wet” season, we get intermittent periods of tropical rain and sunny, but its always warm enough to swim, snorkel on the reef or The average maximum temperatures are 31.4 degrees celsius and an average minimum of 17.0 degrees celsius.

You can pleasantly swim all year round, but it’s best to ask the locals about the conditions before dipping in.
